About the role
The Product Copywriter is part of the Ann Taylor Brand Marketing team and is responsible for creating compelling PDP (product detail pages) for our collections. The Product Copywriter works with partners across departments to gather relevant product information to craft accurate and on-brand product descriptions. In this role, you should be highly organized, have an eye for every detail.
The impact you can have
- Work well independently as well as with cross functional partners, such as Merchandisers, Ecommerce and UX Designers
- Deliver all copy on time and error-free
- Edit and proofread with exceptional attention to detail
- Research for accurate product information pertaining to fabric and sizing
- Incorporate SEO into product copy as needed
- Ensure consistency and adherence to Ann Taylor copy standards; Maintain high standards for writing and proofreading
You’ll bring to the role
- Superb organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple projects, organize, and deliver copy on schedule
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills; Ability to self-edit and sense-check text
- Minimum 3 years’ experience copywriting in fashion/retail

- The target salary range for this role is: $62.4 - $70K*

This position works in a hybrid model, with three days per week worked in the New York, NY location and two days per week worked remotely.
