About the role

The Coordinator of Visual Communications plays a vital role within the Visual Merchandising team. They will report to the Director of Visual Merchandising and work cross-functionally to help communicate clear, efficient information and create content that attracts attention and boosts engagement, fostering visual merchandising courage and improving our store experience.

The impact you can have

● Create and design Monthly Visual Merchandising Guidelines (LOFT, Lou & Grey, and Wholesale) for digital and print

● Create and design LOFT VM Standards and Training Tools within brand guidelines

● Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to develop new approaches to creating more expressive content that engages the store field readers

● Optimize and retouch photographs and graphics

● Maintain a master in-store digital marketing library and update monthly

● Ensures all documents are accurate, complete, and free of errors

● Regularly works with Creative, Production, and Project Management teams to review, provide feedback, and approve document proofs

● Maintain a comprehensive and current database of our Loft store fleet

● Diligently maintains the VM Calendar and VM Project Tracker

You’ll bring to the role

● Associate’s degree or higher in a creative field

● Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office programs

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills

● Graphic Design experience

● Attention to detail

● Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects

● Strong analytical skills

● Time management and organizational skills

  • The target salary range for this role is: $24.04 - $26.44 hourly*

This position works in a hybrid model, with three days per week worked in the New York, NY location and two days per week worked remotely.
