About the role

The Merchandise Operations Analyst drives operational efficiencies within the Supply Chain through relationship building, effective communication, and report development/ownership. The Analyst must excel across all lines and in all forms of communication to bridge brand partners, supply chain leaders and cross functional shared service teams. The individual in this role uses concise and articulate language in message across all levels of the organization and maintains firm positions related to capabilities and timelines.

The individual in this role is flexible to the needs of the business and pivots based on the evolution and progression of Brand and/or Supply Chain initiatives. The Analyst’s focus is on creating positive, unique, and memorable experiences for customers and leveraging curiosity to identify opportunities to improve business processes that drive efficiencies.

This position supports the Manager and the teams involved in the operational relationship with Planning and Allocation, Sourcing, and Supply Chain teams for Fulfillment & Distribution Services and functions as one of the points of contact for all Chicos FAS/KnitWell business teams to related KnitWell shared service teams.In addition, the Analyst supports the Manager in implementing strategies, plans and tactics which optimize (cost, service, time, and quality) the flow of products through the Supply Chain to both the Internet Fulfillment and Distribution Centers and on to the clients and stores.The Analyst will also produce analysis to help improve the processes and cost structures to contribute to reduction of operational costs within the supply chain and to maintain on-time delivery to clients and stores.

The impact you can have

  • Provide the analysis and reporting necessary to support the Chicos FAS Brands (or related Brands)/KnitWell leaders on all operational projects and initiatives that will affect their process.
  • Help to develop business processes to ensure accurate inventory between the distribution/fulfillment centers and Chicos FAS (or related Brands’) system of record.
  • Support the execution all paperwork and analysis needed for cross channel transfers, VAS work, reticketing, product disposition, and other analysis or reports as needed.

You’ll bring to the role

  • Experience with Chicos FAS brands is a preference
  • Experience in a large, complex organization is a plus
  • Retail apparel or specialty retail experience is a preference
  • Self-starter that anticipates problems, identifies opportunities, and provides creative solutions
  • A strong analytical background
  • Excellent Excel skills and strong reporting skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with varying levels within Chicos FAS (or related Brand) and KnitWell
  • Approaches responsibilities with enthusiasm, persistence, and action-orientation with a keen sense of accountability
