Our Beginnings
Our founder, Lena Bryant, didn't set out to make history from a tiny storefront in New York City, but that's exactly what she did. Lena was a fearless entrepreneur who brought fashion to an overlooked community of women who deserved to be seen and celebrated. She catapulted a business into a brand that became a beacon of body positivity. We're the only American fashion brand started by a woman, for women, still in existence since 1904 and still making history today.
