About the role
Exceptional customer engagement starts with an empowered and knowledgeable team. This position focuses on developing and delivering engaging training content, tools and communication to equip field Associates with the skills and resources they need to provide outstanding customer experiences.
The Customer Engagement Assistant Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing our team's ability to engage with customers effectively. This role is responsible for designing, writing and creating training and communication aimed at improving customer engagement, communication skills, and product knowledge. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, organized, and passionate about the customers overall experience.
The impact you can have
- Design, create and update training materials, including weekly communication, product guides, e-learning modules, tailored to improve internal customer engagement skills.
- Work with cross-functional partners to ensure training materials tie back and promote a customer-centric culture and omni-channel experience.
- Develop training materials that include multiple delivery channels, including but not limited to video, print, experiential and self-led.
- Plan and facilitate video-based training. Responsible for scripting video; working closely with cross functional partner to ensure the message is clear and branded.
You’ll bring to the role
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or 5+ years of relevant retail experience, including operations and customer support.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage a variety of learning styles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create engaging training materials, video content, and e-learning modules.
- Proficient with training platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and a team player.
- Empathy and a customer-centric mindset, both internally and externally.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for continuous learning.
