Job Description

LOFT – Part-Time Sales Lead (Keyholder)

Location: The Shops at Park Lane, Dallas, TX

Reports to: Store Manager

Job Overview

Bring forth a thoughtful blend of common-sense client-focused leadership, vibrant energy, and a true love of fashion to the team at LOFT. As a Sales Lead, you’ll coach a dynamic group of sales associates and champion polished visual standards, organized stockrooms, and smooth, supportive store operations. If you enjoy helping people look and feel their best while guiding a busy, fashion-forward environment, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Step in as the Manager-on-Duty (MOD) when needed.

- Put the Customer first while balancing tasks and overall store operations.

- Drive results, anticipate Customer needs, and clearly communicate store and individual performance goals to motivate Associates.

- Coach Associates in-the-moment on Customer interactions and performance to maximize productivity and capture opportunities.

- Demonstrate operational excellence by applying SOPs (store operating procedures), maintaining merchandise flow, and executing floor sets to Brand standards.

- Support the business strategy and adjust tactics to effectively reach goals; clearly communicate company direction to the team.

- Embrace fashion, articulate current market trends through Brand interpretations, and adhere to Brand dress code guidelines.

- Safeguard store keys, perform opening/closing procedures, and manage PIN/signature privileges for register approvals.

- Lead New Hire onboarding and ongoing Associate training; collaborate with internal and external partners to accomplish tasks.

- Ensure accurate timekeeping and flexible coverage by reporting as scheduled.

- Contribute to shrink prevention and uphold safety awareness.

- Additional responsibilities as assigned by Store Manager(s), District Manager(s), or Regional leader(s).

Position Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of retail experience in a Sales Associate and at least 1 year of experience in a sales lead role or higher with proven sales success and coaching capability.

- Flexible work availability to meet business needs, including evenings/nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Strong common-sense approach to problem solving and decision-making.

- Demonstrated ability to organize, delegate, and prioritize assignments; meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

- Knowledge of visual standards and techniques; implement and maintain Brand guidelines.

- Effective, clear communication with Customers, Managers, Business Partners, Store Associates, and Peers.

- Ability to foster a positive, inclusive team environment and drive engagement.

- Proactive in making timely decisions and coaching for performance improvement.

- Tech-savvy; proficient with the POS System.

- Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stockroom, and office; lift up to 50 lbs; retrieve/stock merchandise with or without reasonable accommodation.

Ideal Candidates Will:

- Possess hands-on experience in visual merchandising (floor sets), stockroom organization and management, shipment processing, and clothing retail sales.

- Be seasoned in coaching, developing talent, and driving sales through practical, solutions-focused leadership.

- Showcase fashion-forward retail experience with a passion for style and a knack for organization.

- Lead by example to encourage a customer-centric selling approach.

- Demonstrate the ability to perform well in a fast pace environment with a "can-do" attitude.

- Execute tasks quickly, with attention to details, and within the time frame allotted.

- Be team oriented.

Compensation and Scheduling

- Part-time role; Pay is based on experience.

- Flexible availability to work evenings/nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Scheduled hours are based on the needs of the business.
