About the role
The industrial Engineering Intern will be trained in Warehouse Management Systems & Warehouse Control Systems, Gain experience in a multi-channel supply chain operation (Store Distribution and Ecommerce fulfillment), conduct SOP validation and Work Measurement, and will directly impact the bottom-line with process improvement projects. This internship will prepare you for an entry-level position in Industrial Engineering, Transportation, or Operations Management by providing exposure to Operations and Engineering leadership, presenting projects and findings throughout internship, building relationships and networking with supply chain professionals, and having a mentorship opportunity to learn from others who have worked in Supply Chain for 20+ years.

Internship Qualifications:

·Experience using Labor Management tools and software, such as Manhattan, Red Prairie, or UMT Plus 

·Completion of work study course / Familiarity with MOST, MTM, or other time and motion analyses 

·Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio) 

·SQL or Python knowledge recommended but not required

·Familiar with continuous improvement methodology such as DMAIC or PDCA 

·Multi-tasks in a fast-paced environment 

·Thrives in situations that require constant agility 

·Has participated in a cross-functional team project 

·Takes initiative to seek information 

Program Details

The KnitWell Group Summer Internship Program welcomes the classesof 2025 and 2026 college students to work with several of our brands (Ann Taylor, Lane Bryant, LOFT, Talbots) and Corporate Shared Servicesto kick-start their career in retail. This immersive experience offers interns the opportunity to work hands-on with their department for 10-weeks and receive professional development opportunities including executive chats, professional workshops, store visits, etc., and participation in a collaborative team project.  

The pay rate for the position is $20.00/hr. 

KnitWell Group does not offer housing near any of our corporate office locations. Participating students must have the ability to independently secure and finance housing in a commutable distance of the office location.
