About the role

The Allocator is responsible for the accurate and timely execution of store and size level allocations across an omni-channel business in partnership with the cross functional team. They execute omni-channel inventory management strategies by ensuring the flow of inventory to stores/direct/outlet supports the global strategies to maximize the company’s sales, inventory, and margin goals. With a focus on size breaks and allocations, they partner with the Inventory Planning Analyst to ensure that execution aligns with cross functional department goals.

The impact you can have

  • Execute store and size-level allocations to maximize sell through and profitability in partnership with the Inventory Planning Analyst.

  • Manage size breaks, size curves, and pack strategies to ensure the right product is delivered to the right store at the right time.

  • Maintain accurate and timely allocation of inventory to stores/direct/outlet in line with global inventory strategies.

  • Review omni-channel selling by size and support optimum size and pack purchase recommendations based on store/item/classification and key item level need.

  • Partner with the Planning and Merchandising team pre-season to review hindsight’s that will help develop next season’s product strategies.

  • Participate in Planning/Inventory Management discussions to optimize inventory through preseason store cluster analysis, initial allocation, DC management and in-season management.

  • Partner with the Inventory Planning Analyst on new allocation strategies at the classification and/or key item level, keeping a customer centric inventory strategy.

  • Identify business driving opportunities to the Inventory Planning Analyst through analytics and risk management.

You’ll bring to the role

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • 1-3 years’ experience

  • Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data

  • Strong sense of work ethic and responsibility

  • Able to present ideas and direction clearly to others

  • Able to build strong relationships with a diverse group of business partners

  • Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills

  • Able to work independently, self prioritize and multi task

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required

  • The target salary range for this role is: $60,000

This position works in a hybrid model, with four days per week worked in the Hingham, MA office and one day per week worked remotely.
