About the Role:
The International, Wholesale and Licensing division was established to drive enhanced value for both our enterprise as well as each individual brand in KnitWell Group’s portfolio, by expanding consumer touchpoints through countries, categories, and channels. The Operations Manager will be responsible for the KnitWell Group brands’ operational excellence with strategic international wholesale accounts. This role will also include licensing operation duties to ensure partner compliance against financial, factory, and product metrics. This is an opportunity to join a growing team, learn about the different brands in our portfolio, and manage a diverse portfolio of projects and partners. You will work in a start-up environment while being able to access the resources and established infrastructure of a major corporation. The Impact You Can Have:
- Oversee and deliver daily operational and sales goals for our brands with key accounts and partners
- Ensure the sound execution of end-to-end wholesale process for international wholesale account partners
- Develop and present monthly and seasonal business performance reports, identifying growth opportunities and emerging sales trends
- Provide oversite of total order process, from intake to payment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments and adherence to brand calendars
- Lead weekly cross-functional meetings with various partners acting as a project manager for new door openings, new account onboarding, or other wholesale/international priorities
- Drive communication and build relationships with internal and external partners and participate as a solution-oriented team member, contributing to a flexible, high performing team
- Work with licensees and internal teams to ensure proper financial reporting, royalty payments and compliance
You’ll Bring to the Role:
- Ability to thrive in a matrixed organization and partner with cross functional teams and leaders across multiple brands
- 3-4 years in wholesale account management, merchandising, or project management. International wholesale experience a plus
- Excellent project management, organizational and communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through and prioritization skills
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities
- Strong self-management and time management skills
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Fluency in Spanish a plus
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (2-5 times/year)

- The target salary range for this role is: $100,000 – 120,000*

This position works on-site at least 4 days per week consistent with the needs of the business at our Talbots office location in Hingham, MA.
