About us

Our founder, Lena Bryant didn't set out to change fashion forever, but that's exactly what she did. 120 years later, Lane Bryant remains the iconic plus-size brand. Empowering women is kind of our thing. Our inclusive community of customers and associates champions the acceptance of all sizes, shapes, and people. If you believe in the power of clothes to create confidence and empower self-expression, you'll be at home here.

About the role

This role is responsible for transforming post-photoshoot assets into cohesive, social-first content packages that bring our brand stories to life across channels. Working closely with the Photo Art Director during mid-concept phases, this role will craft elevated visual solutions—including social content, video edits, and designed static assets—that support campaign packages ahead of floorsets. This role is not part of daily business execution; instead, it focuses on concept-driven, project-based creative that powers seasonal and campaign-level storytelling.

The impact you can have

  • Partner with the Photo Art Director to understand shoot outputs and translate them into polished, on-brand content packages for social, site, and email.

  • Develop a mix of static, motion, and video assets, ensuring each campaign delivers a cohesive, modern, and elevated Lane Bryant visual story.

  • Edit in-house brand video content using Premiere Pro or After Effects; deliver refined, social-optimized cuts.

  • Create social-first assets—including short-form videos, GIFs, designed posts, and mixed-media visuals—that reflect platform trends and audience behavior.

  • Design static content for email, site placements, and campaign use, ensuring brand consistency and scalable systems for multi-channel execution.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Marketing, and Photo teams to ensure content aligns with concept direction and campaign needs.

  • Maintain strong aesthetic judgment, with a graphic design foundation and a sensibility for motion, pacing, visual rhythm, and storytelling.

  • Organize and package final deliverables in a clean, accessible way for downstream teams.

  • Create and lead clear, brand-aligned retouching markups for external vendors across editorial on-figure imagery.

  • Uphold established and seasonal retouching standards while reviewing assets and providing precise feedback to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with creative intent before final delivery.

You’ll bring to the role

  • 5+ years of experience in content design, digital design, or social-first creative roles—fashion or retail experience preferred.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Premiere Pro or After Effects, Figma, and Canva.

  • Strong design eye with demonstrated experience blending typography, layout, motion, and video into cohesive content systems.

  • Proven ability to design for social platforms with an understanding of best practices, trends, and format requirements.

  • Ability to independently take mid-concept direction and translate it into polished campaign assets with minimal supervision.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to package, label, and deliver high-volume assets across multiple campaigns.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, seasonal retail environment while managing multiple concepts at once.

  • A compelling portfolio showcasing social-first creative, video edits, and high-end graphic design work.

  • Experience in photo retouching markups and workflows.
