Ann Taylor is looking for a talented Social Art Director to join the Brand Creative team. In this position you will lead Ann Taylor's social creative team by concepting and executing social-first ideas with impeccable craft. This role involves leveraging extensive experience in art direction in both photo and video and collaboration with production and post-production teams to bring creative concepts to life. As Social Art Director you will ensure content is inherently social and aligned with Ann Taylor's brand values, working closely with other creatives and strategists as a key partner within the broader marketing team. The candidate must have retail or brand experience. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, collaborative, a conceptual thinker and be able to mentor and manage a team.
The impact you can have
Lead the visual creative for social media campaigns and content, ensuring it is social-first, innovative, and aligns with the brand's voice and objectives.
Develop moodboards, present ideas, lead shoots with a strong understanding of the social media landscape to ensure cohesive, innovative and well-communicated content.
Conceptualize, edit, and design graphics and videos for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, guiding the entire process from concept to delivery.
Art direct photo and video shoots, managing photographers, talent, and stylists to ensure content meets high creative and quality standards.
Stay updated on current social media trends, challenges, and cultural moments to create relevant and timely content.
Ability to manage a team – graphic designer and potential freelancers
Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
Understand video editing techniques and tailor different outputs specifically for various platforms.
You’ll bring to the role
At least 8-10 years of experience at similar brand in fashion/retail space
Strong art direction, video editing, typography and design skills a must
Must be extremely organized and have a keen eye for all details
Must have a collaborative attitude and open and receptive to feedback
In depth knowledge of digital design and how to apply an idea to each platform
Must be able to clearly articulate and present creative ideas
Self-starter, ability to act and follow through on projects independently
Must have experience working in-house for similar brand
Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or related field
Expert knowledge of Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite

The target salary range for this role is: $110,000 - $115,000
*Any job offer will consider factors such your qualifications, relevant experience, and skills. Eligibility of certain benefits and associate programs are subject to employment type and role.
Hybrid: This position works in a hybrid model, with three days per week worked in the Times Square Towel corporate office location in New York, NY and two days per week worked remotely.
