About the role

The Print & Color Sr. Manager Serves as liaison between Design, Product Development, Merchandising, and overseas partner to ensure information flow is accurate throughout the development process.The Print & Color Sr. Manager is a self-motivated professional with deep experience in color and print production processes and a natural ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.

The impact you can have

  • Stay abreast of trends, new techniques and resources in print design and fabric.

  • Manages deadlines: responsible for ensuring print packages are sent out, completed and on time according to PLC

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the CAD department; provide feedback and guidance to CAD Artists

  • Review completed artwork packages

  • Lead communication with mills to ensure accurate execution of color standards and artwork according to the original design intent

  • Communicates daily with overseas offices on all print related questions/ concerns/ problems

  • Responsible for coordinating all changes from Line Review and communicates to Cross-Functional Team at Line Review recap.

  • Maintains print development tools, i.e. print chart and pitch sheets.

  • Collaborates with Sr. Director on all print approvals

  • Participates in concept review and line building recaps, in addition to line review.

You'll bring to the role

  • 5-7 years experience as a Computer Aided Designer and/or Textile Designer

  • Bachelors or Associates Degree, or equivalent, in Design

  • Strong computer skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, and Ned Graphic preferred)

  • Awareness of product development from conceptualization to finished design for textiles.

  • Creative and innovative design ability tailored to Ann Taylor brand and client

  • Strong fashion, color and print sense

  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments and divisions

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Highly organized and has capacity to anticipate change

  • Executes to timelines and provides timely solutions

  • The target salary range for this role is: $120,000-$125,000

  • This position is hybrid with three days worked in our Times Square Tower office and two days worked remotely
