About the role
The Human Resources Generalist provides day-to-day HR support for associates and leadership within the distribution and contact center. This role is responsible for implementing HR policies, ensuring compliance, and supporting initiatives that foster a positive and productive work environment. The HR Generalist acts as a key resource for associate relations, new hire orientation, compliance-related activities, performance management, and engagement initiatives.
The impact you can have
- Manage associate relations process and maintain data dashboard for both the Distribution and Contact Centers
- Facilitate and summarize feedback from small group meetings within the Distribution Center
- Attend and participate in round table feedback meetings in the Contact Center
- Support Performance and Development processes for both Centers
- Maintain compliance with Distribution Center shift change processes
- Support leaders with policy, compliance and concerns
- Determine eligibility and execute on any bonus opportunities within both Centers
- Support team communications, including Start of Shift meetings, Town Halls, and other associate-facing communications
- Maintain i-9 compliance
- Support as liaison for work related injuries
- Provide coverage for HR Office Hours serving the Distribution Center’s non-exempt associate population, assisting with inquiries and providing appropriate guidance
- Support learning and development initiatives
- Maintain a positive, friendly, and approachable presence with Distribution Center, Contact Center and Corporate associates by actively seeking opportunities to connect
- Support HR Initiatives as assigned
You’ll bring to the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
- SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management – Certified Professional)
- PHR (Professional in Human Resources)
- Typically, 2–5 years of HR experience
- Experience and/or exposure to multiple HR functions such as: associate relations, benefits support, performance management, corrective action & conflict resolution, compliance and policy enforcement & associate engagement
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience supporting non-exempt populations and front-line leaders is a plus
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, BambooHR) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic reporting (intermediate skills in Excel or HR dashboards)
