This position is responsible for leading a team of manual and automation quality engineering. Will work closely with the other members of the team and business owners to create, review, execute test plans and scenarios to ensure the quality of software releases. This role leads testing projects (big and small); provides support to the Digital Product Team sprint releases by applying best in industry quality engineering skills in various systems and applications, including financial programs. This role participates in the product development process for ensuring software runs smoothly and meeting the business objective by enabling shift left testing using automation along with CI/CD, agile and scrum methodology and in completing test projects on time within budget.

- As the QA Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing our Manual/Automation testing efforts
- Leading the QA function, the QA Manager will be responsible for managing a team of manual and automation testers.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using latest technologies (Web UI automation tool, API Testing Tools and Backend testing tools)
- Drive the adoption of best software engineering practices including CI/CD and automated testing
- Lead all aspects of testing including establishing and evolving formal QA processes; establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met while meeting or exceeding utilization targets.
- Establish and develop test strategy, methodologies, test plans, scripts, procedures as well as lead and assist with manual and automation testing.
- Lead and assist with test reporting, defect management, triaging and sign off process.

- Lead and manage the test automation team, providing guidance and support in implementing effective automation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze software requirements and design test cases accordingly
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in automation testing tools and platforms
- Provide leadership in innovation and adoption of leading test platforms/solutions
- Train and mentor team members on automation testing best practices
- Monitor and report on the progress and performance of automation testing activities
You’ll bring to the role
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Computer Science or related field required
- 10+ years’ experience in software quality engineering in areas of both manual and automation testing primarily in Digital Commerce and Retail Systems.
- 7+ years of managerial experience leading quality engineering teams consisting of both manual and automation engineers.
- 7+ years of hands-on automation framework implementation and test design for UI as well as End to End using tools like Selenium, Junit, TestNG, Lambda Test, Sauce Labs, BrowserStack and any AI based Test Tool Implementation.
- Hands on experience in different testing types like functional, nonfunctional, accessibility testing, performance testing and A/B testing.
- Hands on experience in CI/CD Tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitHub Runner, GitLab CI and similar.
- Deep expertise with multiple of the Retail/E Commerce technologies – Fabric, SFCC, SFSC, OMS, WMS, Oracle, Big Data, DOM, TIBCO, CRM and SAP.
- Expertise in Automation of Store System (POS, iPad and handheld devices)
- Expertise in at least one of the following: Python, Java, JavaScript.
- Advanced working knowledge of test engineering processes and methodologies; Expertise in test planning, test case management, code coverage and defect analysis.
- Significant hands-on experience in project management and Agile/Scrum product development life cycles.
- Experience leading vendor resources located in multiple geographical location and driving quality deliverables across sprints.
- Proven track record of leading testing on medium to large testing projects
- Demonstrates experience in gathering and presenting release or project defect reports.
- Demonstrates understanding of risk-based testing and experience in its implementation
- Experience mentoring and training team members in world class testing practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and react to situations as they arise in the appropriate manner
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment and effectively meet project deliverables on time
- Must be dependable, punctual, and reliable
- Must be flexible and available to provide off-hours support on project work or production emergencies
- Software quality assurance certifications preferred
