CANADA JOBS

At Lane Bryant, our associates share a passion for making a difference for our customers and in the communities where we live and work. We give back and connect around shared causes by supporting various philanthropic partners and nonprofits throughout the year. One of the organizations closest to our associates' hearts is Pelotonia.

Pelotonia's central mission is to raise funds for cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Every August, Pelotonia hosts its signature event, Ride Weekend, which begins with an Opening Ceremony and features two days of road cycling with routes ranging from 17 to 165 miles. This event takes place in the heart of our community in Columbus, OH, near Lane Bryant’s home office. Additionally, Pelotonia hosts Gravel Day in October, where participants can sign up for gravel cycling, a 3.5-mile run/hike trail, mountain biking, or even complete a combination of those routes.

For the last 13 years, associates at Lane Bryant have proudly joined thousands of riders and volunteers in support of Pelotonia's mission. Participating in Pelotonia is a special experience that honors loved ones, supports a cause, and brings people together.

"It's amazing to be on the bike with over 8,000 riders, and we are all there for the same reason: to beat cancer," says Kathy Quickert, VP of Marketing and Team Lane Bryant's Pelotonia Captain. Kathy's Pelotonia journey began when she learned about her Aunt's cancer diagnosis. She pledged to ride every year in honor of her Aunt, her sister, her brother, her Mom, and the loss of her Dad in 2023, and everyone fighting cancer.

As a Team Captain, she helps recruit volunteers and organize fundraising efforts for our riders, including our popular on-site Pelotonia-themed bake sale and several other fundraisers.

One other unique way associates get involved is by designing the team's cycling jersey. Carrie Doyle, Senior Graphic Designer at Lane Bryant, had the opportunity to design the jersey in 2024. "My dad passed from cancer in 2020, so Pelotonia is very personal to me. I had never designed a bike jersey before. This was not only a new format for me, but a very personal cause to try something new," says Carrie. After designing the jersey in 2024, she joined the team for Ride Weekend the following two years. "I hold a very special place in my heart for Pelotonia and look forward to participating year after year.”

The Pelotonia community is close-knit. In 2024, Lane Bryant hosted an on-site conversation with Joe Apgar, CEO of Pelotonia, to hear about the nonprofit's history, the life-saving research that has resulted from it, and how to get involved.

In 2026, 82 associates joined together to form our largest team ever. This year's theme, TOGETHER AS ONE, is a powerful reminder that every mile we ride, every dollar we raise, and every story we share brings us closer to a world without cancer.
