The Associate Manager - Product Development & Production assists in the process from seasonal development of product to the manufacturing process in alignment with the divisional sourcing strategy.
Ensures design vision and wash/product integrity standards are met while adhering to the Product Lifecycle Calendar and meeting financial goals.
Ensures standards of IMU performance, quality, delivery and business practices are achieved. Champions the company's Values & Practices by maintaining effective collaborative relationships, taking pride in the company and brand, and embracing diversity.
The impact you can have
Owns Denim Wash from development through to production approvals partnering with Design and Merchants
Assists to achieve seasonal IMU aligned to the corporate financial objectives
Supports manager to establish target costs, negotiate costs, and communicate with vendors during face-to-face meetings.
Requests and tracks development yardage and all samples
Owns managing testing/quality Risk Assessment process with agents/suppliers
Partners with manager on Time & Action Calendars and bulk fabric commitments
Owns placing fabric and style commitments to suppliers
Owns communicating out changes to style/buy quantity to our agent partners and following up with cross-functional team
Updates and maintains Sourcing/Style Records in Bamboo Rose
Manages purchase order requests and revisions
Prepares and assists with pre-classification process
Creates and maintains seasonal re-cap charts.
Maintains departmental files within the sourcing systems.
Builds collaborative relationships with the cross functional team members.
Attends weekly fit meetings
Daily correspondence with overseas offices and third-party vendors
Handles other responsibilities and projects, as assigned
You'll bring to the role
Bachelors degree, in a related field of study, or equivalent functional experience
2-3 years’ experience in Product Development & Production. Previous Denim & Wash experience preferred but not required
Detail oriented, with strong organizational capabilities
Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
Flexible/adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Team oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

The target salary range for this role is: $65K - $72K.
