About the role
The Reporting Analyst, a key member of the Asset Protection Fraud Analytics team, is responsible for supporting the Senior Manager of Fraud Analytics. This includes maintaining the efficiency of our multiple reporting systems and delivering actionable analysis and insights to reduce shrink and losses across our brand portfolio. This position will leverage Asset Protection and Operations systems to conduct comprehensive quantitative analysis and report trends that may impact profitability in retail and e-commerce channels across multiple brands. They will also oversee the reporting of Asset Protection metrics and KPIs customized for a broad audience and support Fraud Management operations and initiatives in line with the overall enterprise Asset Protection strategy.
The Impact You Will Have
- Develop all Asset Protection monthly, quarterly, yearly and ad-hoc reporting.
- Support all Asset Protection research related to analysis, investigations, fraud trends, and pattern recognition, and communicate those findings to leadership.
- Conduct thorough analysis to initiate or support Asset Protection investigations by identifying anomalies, emerging fraud trends, and outliers in large datasets.
- Provide comprehensive post-physical inventory shrink analysis and leverage internal data to determine shrink drivers.
- Compile and analyze data for recurring projects such as physical inventory hindsight and case management analysis, and new projects as they arise.
- Analyze and interpret fraud and loss data to deliver actionable insights on key drivers across all sales channels.
You’ll bring to the role
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in Asset Protection or Finance, with 2-3 years of experience in fraud analytics, investigations, and reporting, preferably in a retail environment. This includes statistical analysis, modeling, or other quantitative disciplines.
- Familiarity with ecommerce fraud management systems and processes.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills; ability to compile data from multiple sources and draw insights.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite; expert-level Excel proficiency is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to interact with and present data-driven topics to multiple levels of the enterprise.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Minimal travel required.
- Ability to work flexible hours.

- The target salary range for this role is: $60,000 - 66,000*

This position works remotely. Occasional travel to a company office may be required.
